The Team

Michael RadomirExecutive Director


Michael started his career in 2001 as an environmental markets and regulations analyst, and in 2003 with partners started WHEB Ventures, one of the UK’s first cleantech venture capital funds, which became WHEB Group managing circa $500M of sustainability investments in venture capital, debt finance and listed equities. In 2009, he left WHEB Group to focus full-time on two land based Romanian sustainability businesses; in real estate including eco-tourism, and in the dairy sector. Originally working with the IFC/GEF to establish a regional sustainable development initiative focused on agriculture, tourism and a protected area (the ADEPT project), which later became an independent NGO, the ADEPT Foundation. Michael has served as an advisor to policy makers, corporates and NGOs on sustainability policy, finance and strategy, and is also chair of the SEM Charitable Trust a UK grant maker supporting US and UK groups working on climate change.

Naazia EbrahimSenior Advisor


Naazia focuses on the economics of forests, commodities, and climate. She has also worked in international climate and environmental policy, with the USFS in Alaska on land-use policy; with the OECD on the political economy of biodiversity policy reform and financing marine biodiversity. Along the way, she has also worked on deforestation drivers; agriculture-climate trends; and community forestry and certification.

Anna LehmannStrategic Advisor


Anna runs a boutique consultancy offering investment advisory services to public and private clients. She has been active in the implementation of the Flexible Mechanisms of the Kyoto Protocol (CDM, JI, ETS) from the beginning and draws on more than 15 years working experience in international and European climate and land use and policy, of which eight years in high-level climate policy advisory. With a background in project origination and development in emerging markets, she focuses on identifying and removing investment barriers to help increase the deal flow and stimulate energy and food sector transformation globally. Prior to her career in climate and land use policy and investments, Anna worked as overseas development professional for various Governments. She holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Goettingen University, Germany, and has on-the-ground working experience across all five continents. Anna has been serving on the Board of London based Climate Markets and Investment Association since 2008 and is acting Vice President Policy.

Mike KorchinskyFounder


Mike is the founder of Code REDD, which is a natural outgrowth of his previous work using innovative market-based mechanisms to save wilderness and protect biodiversity. Mike is the founder and CEO of Wildlife Works, a leading REDD project developer, whose “Kasigau Corridor REDD Project” in 2011 became the first REDD project in the World to achieve successful Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and Climate Community and Biodiversity Standard (CCB) validation and verification. Prior to founding Wildlife Works, Mike co-founded and built one of the leading management consulting companies in the U.S., Axiom Management Consulting, which was successfully sold in 1995 to Cambridge Technology Partners [Novell], a Nasdaq company.
